This hemangioma of infancy will regress without therapy, resulting in an excellent cosmetic outcome. This is an example of a large plaque-like hemangioma associated underlying neurological anomalies. This infant had a focal hemangioma in the beard distribution, but did not have underlying airway involvement. This infant has an early or nascent hemangioma. This is the infant at 1 month of age with a typical lumbosacral hemangioma. An MRI was done and no underlying spinal defects were noted. This is an example of a large parotid hemangioma with occlusion of the external ear canal. This is an example of a plaque hemangioma involving the supra-orbital region. This is an example of an ulcerated perineal hemangioma treated with corticosteroids and pulse-dye laser.
