They can sled uphill! No seriously, autistic children are not magical nor are autistic adults or other people with disabilities, yet, one might think they were based on what has been written about them. No, unfortunately, its much more mundane than that. Disabled folks aren't magical, they aren't "aliens" and they don't possess abilities "beyond this world". No one is "blessed" by having autism or any other disability. Rather, disability is just another form of human variation. I must say though that this particular autistic child seemed to be able to sled better and faster than the neurotypical children on this hill. The NT children tended to fall over, slow down and basically crash before they got to the bottom.
